Aunt Kimmie

Came for a visit.  It was so fun to see her pregnant!!  Doug gave her a Priesthood blessing when we were celebrating Talon's birthday "cowboy" style.  And I thought this sillouette of him on a hill giving Kim a blessing was pretty neat.

Cowboy Tal is 8!

That evening you enjoyed your cowboy adventure.  We went to the Norman's land and Bro. Norman gave you an hour of cowboy style riding horses and training.  You loved it!  We ate cowboy food as a family and then you and dad stayed to shoot guns and then camped over night under the stars.  There was a moment when you weren't feeling so safe and talked to Dad about it.  When Dad offered to get his gun and put it by his sleeping bag, you replied, "It's ok Dad, Heavenly Father will keep us safe."  And off you drifted to sleep.  Meanwhile Dad didn't sleep well at all because he couldn't get comfortable.  I love your faith sweet Tally boy!  I'm excited to watch you grow in your faith in Heavenly's Father's plan for you!  I sure love you with all my heart!!!

 Saying goodbye to Aunt Kimmie.  She came out for Talon's birthday and to have her baby in the states instead of India.  Her baby girl is due in about 6-7 weeks.

Talon had a great Birthday party with his friends on the last day of school.  These are the invitations we sent out and includes the fun things we did during the party.  Also, here are some picture highlights.

Fun with Mom and Dan

Mom and Dan came up for a week.  They rented a timeshare on Lake Coeur d'Alene about an hour from our house.  Though the boys still had one more week of school, we played Saturday- Tuesday and then they went back to school for Wednesday-Friday.  

Little hike up to Beauty Bay look out.

The boys built a dam.

Did a little face painting at the creek.

 Buried their feet in the sand.

 Went Kayaking.

 Played in the water.

 Yep, it was pretty awesome!  Hope they make it a summer tradition!
