12th Anniversary

We celebrated by going out to dinner.  There's a lot going on in our life right now...trying to figure out job situation again.  We are not sure if Doug's job that he loves here at North Pines Dental Care will become a full time position or not. It was supposed to evolve into that within 6-12months, but here we are at almost our year mark and not an hour above 20/week.  He has a job offer in Prosser, Washington that looks very promising and would double our salary.  Very enticing to be able to get completely out of debt and plan for retirement.  But it's not exactly where we want to live.  We've been very please with what Spokane Valley has been for our family:  great schools, great community, great ward family, all the amenities we would ever want, the airport is 25 minutes away, plenty of outdoor recreation, beautifully landscaped, lakes/rivers to play in, temple is 3 minutes away, having some family close (in Coeur d'Alene) to do Sunday dinners with is nice, a strong LDS population yet not the majority...it's been really good here.  So do we up and leave in hopes of a better financial situation or do we patiently stay here and see what happens?  We went to the temple to do some sealings as we like to reminisce of our day we were sealed, but also spent time praying in the Celestial room.  Whatever we choose, I feel that the Lord will guide us and I'm thankful to feel like it will all work out.

Easter and Conference...pretty much perfect!

To listen to the words of our Savior through our latter-day prophet Thomas S. Monson and his apostles over Easter weekend is the best!  I love my Savior so much and I love the joy I feel from His atonement and knowing we can live forever because of Him!!!  The hope He brings to my life is abundant!!!!  I hope He knows how thankful I am for His grace that is carrying me through this pregnancy all while trying to nurse Ezralee and somehow get through the days when all I feel like doing is laying in bed all day.  If this baby is a girl, her name is going to be Grace Elizabeth.  If it's a boy, Monson Elias after our beloved prophet.  Doug read his biography and was so inspired by his natural instinct to serve.  I hope this baby will be reminded of the grace only Jesus Christ can offer and live a life of serving like President Monson.
