My grandpa passed away. He was a very talented Jazz musician who helped shape the Jazz program at Marshall University. My memories of him include orange roughy, sherbert, triscuits, hide the mushroom, his underground house with a pool on top, big smiles and hugs, and of course his short shorts that showed of his tan legs. It was nice to see family though it was under the circumstances. Mom, Aunt Chris, and Grandma Sandee played a beautiful musical number at
the funeral to honor the man of music.
