working on work

Teaching children the value of work is teaching me as well.

1. When your vaccuum stops working, take it apart as there's a chance a brand new sock is clogging it.

2. When children complain of no jammies, check between the piano and the wall.

3. When plates are stacked on a tower of bowls, it reduces the number of dishes needing to be washed.

4. When letting your 7 year old mow the backyard, you'll end up with a fabulous Suess-like race track.

  1. Love that! And your memories from your McArthur family get together are so fun. We miss you guys. Still mourning that you probably won't end up in Austin. And really, can we get any farther apart? We are about as far south as you can get in the US and you may end up about as far north as you can get. We sure planned that poorly! I guess it means you can winter down in Austin with us, and we will summer in Idaho with you!
