Camping on an Island

was a piece of HEAVEN!  Love Nashville lakes, love our friends the Gales, love that they share their boat with us, love that we were able to spend some time as a family outdoors, love the beautiful TN September weather, love homemade rolls & soups, hot chocolate, dutch oven meals, roasting marshmallows, etc.

So sad I forgot my camera, so the quality of my phone (and Doug's) pics will have to do:

 Our Island

Jax in a tree, Colton exploring with a flashlight, and Talon drinking hot chocolate...perfect examples of their personalities!

7 boys 7 & under

Fun with Dad

Fun with Mom

Fun with Jax: From the moment we arrived Jaxon was climbing trees and pretending he was a boa constrictor.  He probably would have slept in a tree if we let him.
Fun with Tal...well, I've said in the past he's our emotional child...pic1 (thinking)- trying to decide if he wants to play in the water, pic2 (freezing)-after playing in water, pic 3 (tired/grumpy)- he might have been trying to take a nap with Colt.

Fun with Colt: LOVED every moment with or without clothes.   He did "downward dog" for about 5 minutes just staring at the lake from a different view...we were cracking up.  Love this kid!
Would take this trip again in a heartbeat!
