1. FHE- doorbell ditched some goodies
2. Wisemen Dinner- ate Indian and Chinese food, star letters, learned about Frankensense, Gold, Myrh (along with some sampling)
3. Musical Nativity- using the script I wrote a few years ago, new additions this year were: Jaxon played "Away in a Manger" on the piano and Talon played "We Three Kings" on the piano.
4. Christmas- Doug purchased all Christmas presents this year including matching pajama pants for our family, new vacuum for him, and a shooting mat for me. Boys received Ninjago lego sets, Nerf Guns, Magic Treehouse books, and some fun games. Mom loved the calendar I made her. We all loved skyping with Elder Wilson. Yummy, yummy food including Jesus' birthday cake and Roast Beast.
5. Temple trip- Doug and I went with Daniel and Adrienne to the Nashville Temple...it was heavenly!
6. Jaxon's Baptism
7. Colton's 4th Birthday
8. FHE- made cards for our neighbors who's husband/father was deploying to Afghanistan for 9 months.
9. New Year's Eve- some culdesac fireworks and sparklers, watched Despicable Me 2
10. New Year's Day- my amazing Mother deep cleaned my entire house
Saying Goodbye is always no fun. Colt tried to convince Doug and me to loan him $500 so he could fly home with Nana and Granddad.
Though we didn't get pictures of everything, here are some:
Before family came we had our friends the Edwards and Gales over for dinner and we made gingerbread houses out of cardboard boxes.
Santa came.
The Nativity set Doug made for our family...8 years ago it began and every year he adds to it.
Mom looking at Calendar I made for her and Dan.
My gift to the boys.
Neighbor gifts. Ms. Julie brought us some cute goodies. The boys helped deliver poinsettias to our neighbors one night for FHE along with an invite for Jax's baptism.
Skyping with Hunter...Elder Wilson.
Playing with Ninjagos. The boys were so entertained with building them that we didn't see them for hours.
Oh so fun to see your family updates! And hats off to you for hosting post Thanksgiving and Christmas! That takes a lot of energy. Love to you!
