How many brothers and sisters do you have? Where do you fit in oldest / youngest? Oldest of 7, but grew up with just my brother most of the time, then the half siblings came along
If you have children, how many? Names and ages. If not at home where are they living now? Grandchildren? Jaxon 8, Talon 6, Colton 4, baby coming in June
What are some of the different places you have lived? Your favorite place? Why? Loved the culture of Japan, Loved snorkeling and the beaches of Puerto Rico, Loved picking blueberries in West Virginia (and more)
Education & Major: B.S. in Family and Consumer Science Education (a.k.a. Home Economics Education)
Any work experience (current or past) that you’d like to share? Sewing, Food, and Crafts teacher at Timberline Middle School in Alpine Utah until I followed my husband out of state for dental school, currently a Portrait/Lifestyle Photographer
If married, how and where did you meet your husband? BYU musical theater production, he was a cast member and I was the choreographer
Your favorite place to eat in and around Clarksville? My house as it's healthier and better tasting than the restaurants around here.
What are your favorite things to do in and around Clarksville? visit sisters with sisters in the ward...so many amazing women with inspiring life stories; fav thing to do in Nashville is camp on an island on w/ the Gale family on Piercy Priest Lake
What is your favorite book? "Heaven is Here" by Stefanie Nielson
What is the best vacation you've been on? Disney World and the beach with my boys over Fall Break
What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you? teaching 8th graders all day long with a hole in my pants seam and the kids finally telling me...perfect lead into teaching my students the value of knowing to sew!
What are five things you can't live without? my faith, family, Nikon, healthy and great tasting food, music that makes me want to dance or sing or draws me close to the Spirit
What is your favorite temple and why? Mt. Timpanogos because that's where Doug and I were sealed and I've have had many powerful spiritual experiences there
Share something about you that no one would know about. I worked for BYU Event Management for 4 years and planned all sorts of events for the students to attend including: BYU Homecoming Parade, New Student Orientation, Asian Fest, Senior Celebration, Big Band Night, concerts, dances, biathlons, etc... did I mention I did this while I was a student at BYU...super fun, but super busy
Share a dream that you have, something you would like to do or see some day. Have all my children serve missions and happily marry in the temple.
